- "When Spring Arrives
As I sit gazing out my window,
The morning sun hot on my face,
I gaze at the frozen lake
while waiting patiently for spring to break.
To smell the lilacs and the roses
that grow in the garden beneath my window.
To hear the birds singing as they flutter around the deck
in their blue, gray and red feathers.
I will welcome the ducks and white swans on the melted lake
and taste the cool air from the breeze
when spring is here.
GOOD OVERCOME BAD
If we look for good
we can find the good.
If we look for bad
this too we will find.
The good will make us
feel happy and the
bad will make us feel
sad, so we should help
others whether they
shall be good or bad.
There is good in all
look and we find that
good will overcome bad.
